Ongoing Museum Programs
Group Drumming & Rhythm:
This is a facilitated gathering where we explore working together in rhythm. Instruments are available on sight. Rhythm is as natural as breathing, but playing together rhythmically is the challenge. However, intuitive approaches to playing together are also accepted and employed as needed. All skill levels accepted. Rhythm is grooving…..and fun….and accessible to all who want to experience playing music. Check calendar for dates and times.
Group Chanting& Singing:
Chanting is an easy form of singing. In this gathering we explore my chants (songs) and any you may bring to share. Chanting incorporates repetition of phrases or mantras as a means of going inward. Like rhythm, chanting is as natural as breathing and is designed to bring serenity to the participant. Closing of eyes and moments of silence help in this regard. Bhakti Yoga is a form of Yoga that incorporates chanting as a means of feeling from the heart and celebrating your higher self. Instruments are used as well to augment the process, but bring your own as needed if you wish to lead a chant. Check calendar for dates and times.
